Rounded up some goats for Byre Tor survivors, and apparently one of them has decided to continue following me as I head toward the Balewood

New Player. Started a few days ago and I'm loving it!

    Posted: 09 Feb 2022 04:56 PM PST

Hey everyone! Started on Crickhollow a few days ago. I've played MMOs for ages but never got around to trying this one. Honestly, I'm blown away by how charming it is.

Exploring this world is just the type of relaxing I needed. My buddy and I have already gotten drunk in the Green Dragon, danced outside the Bird and Baby during a player ran music festival of sorts, and yelled at plenty of hungry hobbits for catching us off guard.

I can't wait to see what else the game has to offer. Any tips for new players so we don't overlook something?

The black book hits home [black book ending spoiler]

    Posted: 09 Feb 2022 05:34 PM PST

So i just finished the black book of Mordor (yes i am running behind a bit) after questing in minas morgul. I really loved the wrap up at the end, especially the bits with EarnĆ¼r. I remember beating Mordirith probably around 9 to 10 years ago (i am 24 now, so this feels like a lifetime away), an learning about his true identity and being surprised how well it fit into the canon. Now years later in the same game i see the creation of a character i defeated a decade ago, now that's some good time travelling! And a tearjerker of a story to boot!

    Daily task limit for VIPs??

    Posted: 09 Feb 2022 05:50 PM PST

I originally played LOTRO when it first came out years ago. I had a paying subscription for years. I had some nostalgia the other day and downloaded LOTRO only to find my primary level 50 toon was no more and only one of my alta survived. Upon playing the alt, I subscribed to VIP with the intention of giving it a month trial and so that I wouldn't get nickeled and dimed in order to play. This brings me to my primary point of this post ..

Why is there such a low daily task limit? It's a bit of an insult to charge me real money on top of my VIP fee in order to turn in a few tasks.

This may seem like such a small issue, however, I've unfortunately got a sour taste in my mouth about this entire experience.

    LoreMaster Red Trait Tree

    Posted: 09 Feb 2022 02:58 PM PST

Hi, I started a lore master. I have never played this class before. I looked to see if there are any guides and there are no recent once. What's the rotation for a red line lore master? What about tree points? What skills should I put my points in? Thanks!

Similar item cosmetic to Rune-maker Hat

    Posted: 09 Feb 2022 09:57 AM PST

Wanted to barter this item for my lore master but it can only be equipped by rune keepers. I guess its only possible if I have a rk and put that item into the wardrobe? But I don't have a rk anyway so was wondering if anyone knows other items similar to this cosmetically. Thanks!
