| Tips for running full-fellowship content with only 3 characters (returning player) Posted: 02 Aug 2021 11:27 AM PDT I played LOTRO a ton about 6-7 years ago, and recently got back into it along with my brother & my wife. We've been having a great time as a RK (me), warden (my bro), and LM (my wife) and are level ~42 now. We've gone out of our way to finish each instance cluster as it's unlocked; these have been a blast and super nostalgic, but much easier than I remember for the most part (particularly Garth Agarwen, a piece of cake even with just 3 people). We had a little trouble in the Shadow wing of Fornost, but we've only really hit a wall now with Haudh Valandil in Annuminas (that fire damage guy hits like a truck). Is there a point at which it becomes much less possible to handle these 6-player instances as a trio, or do we need to just get good? The difficulty of these legacy instances seems to really fluctuate - compare GA/GB to Annuminas for example. I'm especially excited to revisit Carn Dum & Urugarth, are these doable by 3 people with our class setup? I guess I'm just looking for tips, tricks, or any thoughts on the current status of older fellowship content. Thanks! It's great to be back! [link] [comments] | ||
