[Fibro Jedi] LOTRO Farmers Faire Event Guide - Updated for 2021!

    Farmers faire

    Posted: 11 Aug 2021 08:01 AM PDT

Honestly, I was a bit overwhelmed yesterday when I arrived in Bywater. I did see fibrojedi's guide ( https://fibrojedi.me.uk/lotro/farmers-faire-event/ ) which was helpful for details, but does anyone have some general experiences (maybe from last year) on what is really nice, how to "sort" all the quests available etc.?

Raid/Instance mobs no longer ignoring BPE? (warden tank)

    Posted: 11 Aug 2021 02:28 PM PDT

I heard some people talking in the world chat about how Warden tanks are back and someone messaged me saying that they make it so raid/instance mobs and bosses no longer have the mechanic where they ignore block parry evade. He even quoted something like "we realized our avoidance tank wasn't able to do its job"

Is there a source for any of this? I haven't found patch notes or anything

I LOVE BEORNING GODDESSES THEY ARE AMAZING!!!

    Posted: 11 Aug 2021 09:39 AM PDT

I LOVE BEORNING GODDESSES THEY ARE AMAZING!!!

Beorning women are beautiful bear goddesses.

I love Beorning women, they are truly for those with superior taste!

Strong and robust, sturdy and yet sweet and beautiful, deliciously tanned skin with freckles, lusciously long brown, wild hair. Tall and busty, with curves in all the right places.

They will tease you with showing some leg and ankle, they would approach you with a wry grin and a wild spark in their eye and ask you to dance with them. Then they'd pull you in with a warm, tight embrace, oh em gee!

Beorning women are the best, they have beauty unmatched and yet behind that ethereal goddess body is a kind, sweet and caring soul, you can see so much life in their gorgeous eyes.

They make for the best mates, they would protect you with fierce claws and then after the battle let you cuddle up to their soft, bear fur as they carry you home. What's not to love?

Beorning women are truly the most amazing creatures to ever grace Middle Earth I love them!

And Beorning women can cook amazing food and fish for you! They are sweet as honeycakes and will love you dearly forever and ever!

And they don't even care if you're a manlet or a Hobbit like me, they will tease you playfully about your height but they would love you all the same and carry you on their shoulders and wrestle with you gently as to not hurt you.

You can ride on their backs as a helpful shortcut, just like Lyra Belacqua (silvertongue) Riding Iorek Byrnison in His Dark Materials, but Iorek Byrnison is a male bear and not a Beorning women. But still the idea is still there!

I will NOT tolerate the LIES and SLANDER that Beornings are stinky, they are NOT, they bathe more than YOU, bigot!

Elves are a limp fuck, God says lose your virginity to a Beorning goddess and never look back!

ALSO FEET FETISHES ARE DISGUSTING AND YOU REALLY NEED TO GET YOURSELF LOOKED AT BY A PROFESSIONAL BECAUSE THAT SHIT GROSS OK?

Elves are for losers and simps, take the Bearpill, hug a Beorning today!

(If you can't tell this is satire I don't know what to say to you)

Yellow Champion needs tips to get from zero to hero

    Posted: 11 Aug 2021 06:50 AM PDT

Hi! So, I have tried most of the classes, and while I'm having lots of fun playing Beorning, RK, Burglar and Mini, the yellow champion is my fave. My champ is lvl 130, and I'd like to slowly get her ready to participate in end game content. I know it's going to take a while, and that there will be probably some changes in future. Still, I'd appreciate some tips!

The thing is, I have bad gear, only one maxed out virtue and a very vague idea how champ should be "really" played. I know I need to learn to swap weapons, but right now I have only a greatsword (and it's third age, ehh, I had no means/gold to get a firts age weapon and just wanted to get to Minas Morgul). So I need to replace all of my weapons.

(Honestly, the legendary weapon system is not kind to new players. I actually cried when I realized how many starlit crystals you need to be able to do quests.)

Are the MM weekly quests the best way to earn virtue xp? Any other tips? I have completed quite a lot of deeds in every region, but I do have many left as well.

I guess I should learn the Red line as well. Does it sound like a good idea to do practice runs on lower lvl group content on my own? The landscape mobs die a bit too fast, no time to use many skills.

I guess I will need crafted first age weapons? Do I need to use many starlit crystals for the rune?

Thank you for your time and enjoy your day!

New returning player - Help me with what class!

    Posted: 11 Aug 2021 04:06 AM PDT

Hey, im currently in a MMO craze after playing New World and will grind LOTRO till it releases.
But I have no idea what character to choose, because I dont want to be locked behind any future endgame content either - If I happen to really enjoy the game.
Ive tested them all and read a lot about what they do,

I think Captain is a class id like but I also hear its bottom dps tier and takes super long to level, which does not sound like a good plan after all.
Next I think Champion would be fun.. Warden was fine. Dont feel any of the healer classes.
So far its betwen cap, champ or guardian.

Which should i choose for a possible one time playthrough of the game, that is not painfully slow?
