    If y'all haven't seen it yet, a quick look at the Gundabad expansion was shown off on the "Casual Stroll Through the Lonelands" dev stream yesterday. As Scenario mentions none of the locations shown are actually inside Gundabad itself, but it's still exciting and looks great imo! Segment starts around 58 minutes in if the link doesn't work.

    Hi,

    Wanted to come back to this game after almost 11 years (Previosuly playing on ~Dec '10). Which server should I pick for very casual playing? I mean I really like loreplaying in mmo games, but not sure if will handle this all the time. It would be appreciated if there is some 'bigger' Polish community, but tbh I dont know how many PL is playing LOTRO nowadays and it's only optional.

    Also, is there something 'necessary' to buy on the beginning to have normal game experience? I remeber it was possible to buy some stuff by farming deeds, has something changed there? Is it worth to buy monthly subscription only once or is it totally OK to play for free(at least in low/mid lvl)?

    Can't wait to see Shire again with my hobbit hunter!

    They should remove power potions from the pool. They are never used by anyone except those who do speedrunning. And, looking at how the game's most popular server says "Don't be hasty", I'd say that speedrunning is not very popular here...

    Is there much RP/in-character stuff on Treebeard?

    Hello all! I'm fairly new to LotRO, and I mostly play with my daughter on another server. I was reading about the Legacy servers and they seem like an interesting way to experience a bit of the history of the game (I know it's not going to be exactly like it was, but still), so I was considering rolling an alt to play there occasionally as well.

    I was just curious if there was much of an RP community on Treebeard. We usually play on Laurelin, and I've been blown away by how often we find friendly people just chilling out in character, strolling through the Shire or smoking a pipe in Bree.

    What's the long term plan for legendary servers?

    I'll preface this by saying that I'm not playing on legendary servers and I'm not a subscriber nor plan to be any time soon

    However I'm curious about them, specifically if the devs have said what the plan is in the long run for when they will eventually match up to the current level cap. Will they stay as permanent servers? Will they be closed and characters lost? Will there be a free transfer to a classical server of your choosing? Or did they not say anything about it yet?
