Posted: 05 Jun 2021 08:20 AM PDT In landscape content, I usually am able to run the game smoothly at the highest/second highest settings. However, in raids, no matter how low I take the settings, the lag drops the performance down to several FPS or even freezes for 10 seconds and I am dead before I can move. Could that be my computer acting up, is there anything else I can do to ensure better performance, or is raiding a lost cause for me? Thanks in advance. [link] [comments] | ||
What do y’all think about this...? Posted: 05 Jun 2021 08:44 AM PDT So what we have right now is stuff with the Dwarves in the North, and potentially King Elessar's further campaigns post-reunification... But what if... the next expansion allowed our character to see Beleriand/Numenor through the eyes of an "ancestor." And by ancestor, I just mean that there be a scroll or something that's part of a new epic, and when you click on it, your character gets brought to the First Age as "their ancestor," but it's really just your character with all your gear and stuff. Looking for some Warden answers/discussion/advice Posted: 04 Jun 2021 11:27 AM PDT I'm going to put this up front, and I can't stress this enough I'm not looking to race to the end game, these questions are aimed at lower level content and soloing dungeons I've come back to LotRO a few times and I always end up playing a tank and trying to solo instances for fun. It's something I have always enjoyed in MMOs since they introduced private instanced dungeons. LotRO has always been a game where I found them a bit too difficult to manage on level with the classes I usually play, mainly for damage reasons. Though the game is certainly a lot different than the last time this was my goal. I played a bit last year, but in a more support-Captain role in a group of people. Warden is a class that has always interested me greatly, but for a lot of reasons I found it a bit overwhelming. And really I should have asked these questions a while ago. I understand that soloing instances is a lot of keeping yourself healed and alive. So my first question is, realistically how many gambits do I need to memorize? This was always part of the difficulty for me, memorizing the amount of gambits and developing muscle memory with and without the abilities that add certain parts to the gambit woven in with the actual builder attacks. My second question is which line to do you spec into? Is blue the line, or has gear power crept things to the point where the overwhelming stats let you go red for quicker kills while gambits keep you up? A little bit of a part to to question 2 would be, are any of the defensive stats better than others? Lots of games have Block/Parry/Evade more or less valuable on a class by class basis or even just at the games core. Is one better than another in LotRO in general or for Wardens specifically? And my last question is, since I tried and failed with Guardian to do this (years ago, like Moria era) is it possible to do this on a Guardian nowadays if Warden still feels overwhelming, or Captain maybe? I don't really like the feel of Beornings to include them. Thank you for any answers you might be able to offer. [link] [comments] |
