Weird stuttering on new gaming rig Posted: 06 May 2021 12:22 PM PDT Just finished upgrading to a new computer: RTX 3060 Ryzen 5 5600x 32gb of 3200mhz ram m.2 ssd storage and yet, lotro is running horribly. Framerate is great though, all movement and animations are smooth as silk and consistently runs 100+ fps at max settings. However i have issues regardless of my graphics settings (ultra low), regardless of which version of DX9,10, or 11 i am using. latency in game shows 7.5 ms, 0% frame loss, with 200+ bps sent and received. The game seems to be stuttering, not in animations, as the framerate doesnt drop, but it wont update certain calculations of the game, I will die with over 25% hp, spell induction not appearing is the most notable, where spells only occasionally have induction bars. and frequently he just idle animations than the spell finishes. I have inconsistent results using framerate limiter and reducing engine speed, where it seems slightly better, but not all the way. I have tried forcefullscreen=false setting in the .ini file as well as v-sync settings on monitor. I play at 165mhz 1440p, however i have tried changing resolution and refresh rate without fixing it as well. Anyone have any other suggestion i could try? I've been playing the game for 8 years on an mediocre laptop with better results and the same internet. [link] [comments] |
