    Will I be overleveled?

    Posted: 08 May 2021 10:37 AM PDT

Hello! I've got a level 18 hobbit doing quests in Bree-land right now, and I'm trying to finish all quests in each region I do. After Bree-land, I'm planning to do the North Downs, Evendim, and Angmar. While I'm okay doing some grey quests to finish a zone (I had a couple in the Shire), I worry I might end up dramatically over or under leveled at some point. Is this something I should worry about?

New player and the high res pack.

New player and the high res pack.

    Hello there,

so i decided to give LOTRO a try. Installed the game, said yes to the additional High-res texture pack and was eager to get immersed within Middleearth. Made a fancy Long-eared friend (I can summon a teddy :o ) and hopped in. First problem; Text was literally unreadable in 4k and i diddnt manage to find an option for text-scale (only UI but that seems to straight up ignore text) so i changed to 1080p and enabled Supersampling. I was wondering....do i have to manually enable the high res textures? Pretty much everything is on Ultra and it looks suprisingly well for a game that old (except some parts like the wall next to the stairs in my pic) but i was wondering....are those the High res textures? Looking forward to you response ^^

ps: Ill be gratefull for every hint you could give a new player o7

EDIT : 4k turns out to be somewhat unusable so I've made something up : Instead of using 4k I'm using DSR to play in 2560x1600 with 33% smothening... Seems to be a sweetspot in terms of Resolution, UI and coloring... Not the blurry mess of 1080p.

UI elements between 1.3-1.7 does the job quite well for me
