    Is LOTRO for me?

    A little background on my gaming history:

    I started gaming with Diablo. Played a few years of Ultima Online, pre-AOS to SE. I loved the mix of arpg feel and community. I moved on to WoW - classic until WOTLK. Daily quests and time hearing ruined WoW imo. I played Rift for about a year, until pvp balance made the game incredibly frustrating. Dungeons, and the challenge of some of them, was some of the best content I've ever played. GW2 for about a year. Mortal Online (for that old school pvp and meaningful crafting) for about two years. From there, I've dabbled in ESO. I really like the idea of the game, and really enjoyed my necro magicka frost staff tank. Recent changes to the taunt on the weapon wrecked my preferred playstyle and ultimately is not fun; as such, I've kinda moved on from the game. I've been playing Mordhau since launch, as I enjoy the progression of playing a challenging build and pushing myself to play better. I've always been a systems and fun type of gamer over graphics / animations.

    What I enjoy in games:

    I've always enjoyed the challenge of a game, whether it's PvP or PvE. I enjoy randomized loot / meaningful loot systems. I enjoy hybrid gameplay (in terms of mmorpgs and the trinity), or support. And of course, community and atmosphere. The housing system in ESO is also very cool.

    I've been looking for a game to put some time into, and have a friend who has dabbled in LOTRO before. Seeing as I have no experience with the game, and Amazon's upcoming mmorpg in the same universe was cancelled, is now a good time to get into this game? How many players are there? Can you solo most of the content? Is gear dependency an issue for solo players? How does pvp work?

    Also does this seem like a game I would like given my descriptions above?

    Help with 64 bit

    So I've gone into options and put in that I want the 64 bit client, which I've checked and my laptop does have... but when I click into my server where it would normally launch, it just never comes up. If I go back to 32 it's fine... anybody else dealt with this issue and have any advice? I would really like to play with the 64 bit client. My computer isn't anything super high tech but it has the 64 bit so I'm not sure why it wouldn't work

    Thanks for all the helpful replies, I recall being told Lallia used to stock one and have seen shots of it on a Mannequin but alas, it doesn't seem to be stocked anymore.

    I will have to wear a sack until Dunland!

    Wardens

    Hey was just wondering if anyone had any idea if wardens will ever be able to tank again or if ssg has any updates for wardens planned, I returned after like a 5 year break and it's actually heartbreaking to see how they butchered my boy
