A few beginner questions about instances/raids

Hey mellons, I'm a level 51 hunter and I'm interested in starting to do some raids and stuff. My question is basically, to be blunt, how do they work? If I ask some higher leveled folks to run one with me, will they be annoyed? Will it scale to my level or theirs? And we all get the same loot, right?

I looked at the wiki and didn't see this stuff covered there so I'd really appreciate a simple explanation for a newbie like me :) Thanks!

Does the steely dawn pack still work?

I bought this pack on g2a, along with the quad expansion pack. The expansion pack worked perfectly fine, but the steely dawn code isn't recognised, an I just doing it wrong?

Can't open lotro

I installed lotro but when I'm trying to open the game it starts to "downloading game files". It has downloaded the files for all this day and now it's stuck on 60%. What should I do?

Should I reboost to 50?

Hello!

I have recently gotten back into LOTRO, but I am at a bit of a crossroads.
My main character is a 54 Guard, but my enjoyment of his lore, weapon usage and general playstyle is dwindling.
I really want to reroll to either a champion or burglar (For dual wielding mostly), but it has taken me too long to get my guard to 54. 3+ days of playtime.

Now, would I be put at a large disadvantage (Virtue wise f.x) by boosting another char to 50?
Is there any downsides i should know of outside of the money cost?

And what should i choose for endgame content, champ or burg?
