New LOTRO Website for our Community - Need feedback

    Hey fellow LOTRO's!

I have been playing Lotro since 2009 and I absolutely adore this game. I work as a web developer and designer in real life. I want to create a great website for us and to give back to the community. I use a few but have never been in love with them.

I attached a screenshot of my initial concept. There are tons more features I want to include and really get a community behind it.

So I have a few questions for everyone.

Would you be interested in supporting us in developing the website (Patreon, Kickstarter)?
What features would you love to see on this site from a community and educational view?

I'd love to hear your feedback, let me know in the comments!

I could use some help optimizing LOTRO for my PC

    Posted: 25 Apr 2021 03:58 PM PDT

    Hello there

Yes you read that correctly, I need help optimizing lotro for my PC. The thing is I have a 4K monitor and I would love to be able to play the game in 4K.

    My specs are:
    GPU: NVidia GTX 1060 6GB
    RAM: 8 GB
    CPU: Intel i5-4690 @ 3.50GHz

I know my PC isn't really made to run games in 4K but I'm currently running Overwatch in 4K at high settings so I'm hoping I'll be able to achieve a decent balance in fidelity and performance in Lotro.
To all those that choose to help thank you in advance.

Main role of warden in 2021?

    Posted: 25 Apr 2021 07:55 AM PDT

I have been playing this game on and off but have decided to make at least one char to level fully and explore everything. Tried hunter, but I kept drawing too many enemies to me. Decided to play as a warden since I unlocked it with Moria.

But I seem to hear nothing but bad things now, not to mention the social player list has like 5 wardens out of 600 players. I tried it out and like the gambit system, and think I can handle it in terms of memorizing. But what exactly is their role in dungeons/raids etc.? I was told by almost everyone not to be a tank, and instead do damage. Though the issue is DPS can be done much better by 4 other classes 'as far as I know'

Lastly, is this a good AOE class? Tested out a champion, seems cool and too easy. 1 button press and you hit 5 enemies for half their health lol. Warden has something unique about it, but if it's gimped now (as in every other class outperforms its specialty) should I just play champ and try to enjoy it more? haha

Picking a class that can heal (min vs lm)

    Posted: 25 Apr 2021 09:05 AM PDT

Heey guys so I just started playin and usually I prefer classes that can heal and uses magic :) usually water šŸ’§. I really can't decide between these two because Lm heal isn't until lvl 70s? Thats a long time. I like the Lm visually cuz I mained shaman in wow but I really wanna play a healer. :( any guidance?
