Just curious: Has the Minas Tirith lag been addressed in any way since release? (ManaPotz is a new-ish fan and content creator of the game but had to take a hiatus because of this issue and it's quite concerning if this is just something players have to deal with.)

Hi all,

As the title says I am a new player to LOTRO, Im downloading the game as I write this. I am not new to MMO's, I've played more hours in wow then I dare to think off and have my fair share off SWTOR. I would very much like to try out healing for a change. And was just wondering if there is any classes to recommend I try out first? Also is it worth getting the sub from the get go or wait for a while?

Sad but Hopeful

Well, another festival has come and gone, amazing stuff was won (all the alts now have a ride for Moria for when they get there), a really great instance was played and fun was had between my self and family and friends.

Logging on my Runie to move to the great wild (my next adventure) I was saddened by the now and largely empty festival grounds at Bree. Only the hardiest of hobbits stayed to party away in the wee hours of this morning while all others had gone home. Sadness.

But then hope, as a new challenge and more upcoming festivals appear on the horizon. Well done all, see you next time on Crickhollow!

Spent the evening inserting the cowbell into various well-known track in the LOTRO music system. Was a blast and has always been a unique and fun little pastime in the game that really sets it apart for me. Granted, we spent a good 2+ hours at level 10 because we got hella sidetracked by it but despite that, it was still a great time with our little community of Troupers.

Another Returning Player/What to buy Question

Hi all,

I played at release but never really experienced end game. Everything appears so complex and I'm learning as I go. I just bought the Quad Pack from a third party so I'll have those expansions. I'm still low level. I plan on grabbing the Samwise Pack for the basic conveniences. What else should I work towards buying first? I don't want to commit to VIP right now, but I know that if I stick with the game I'll want to do everything I can and progress to end game. I've been playing an RK but am going to re-roll Minstrel because I'm always a healer main. Sorry for the ramble, can anyone give me a bit of an idea for a purchase pathway?
