    Hey Lotro Players!

    I am working on a my little pet-project right now, and today i released the super-duper open beta version of it, so you can use it, and i can collect feedback of it :)

    The project called LotroBuild, and for now, this is only open database of LOTRO items, nothing more. But in the future - i want to create Discord Bot for Items Database, Trait Builder (who actually looks nice), and Character builder. You can see project here - https://lotrobuild.com/.

    For now, if someone will ask you about some item, you can just send a link with that item to that person.

    Questions about LOTRO 2020

    Hello you all, I'm thinking about returning to the game, I played a lot for some years, and I moved on when Minas Tirith was endgame (after Dome of Stars instance)

    I have some questions:

    1. Have the newer raids/instances interesting / challenging mechanics, or are they easy-mode like the epic battles or BG?
    2. Are raids still server-laggy? I remember the battle for Erebor for example being unplayable after inferno cast, is that still so?
    3. Saw that the last update was the Aragorn wedding, this is practically the end of the books... Is it expected to have more group content after this?
    4. Was something added to the skirmishes, or are they still the same like 5 years ago?
    5. If I come back, do I need to grind old content for the character points in order to have a "good enough" char? (maybe I remember wrong, but I think that some points were bound to the class quest in Angmar, some other to Moria quests... Can I buy my way out of doing that old content again*)

    * Nothing against old content of Lotro, I still fondly remember my first Carn Dum run.

    Help advancing after Vol. 1, Book 4, Chapter 9?

    Hello! I just finished Vol. 1, Book 4, Chapter 9: Hasten Their Departure. This ends with me speaking to Eldrond at the Last Homely House. My problem is that he didn't give me the next quest. There is a quest ring symbol inside the Last Homely House, but I don't see anyone with a quest for me. Has this happened to anyone else? The symbol appears just the on other side of the door - until I'm inside. Thanks for your help.

    Explorer - Considering Dropping on Main Character. Mistake?

    It seems none of the rowan wood I am gathering is selling at all. I don't know if this will be the trend going forward heading into the other crafting tiers. I am considering dropping Explorer and picking up Armourer, then buying the processed wood off of the auction house for my woodworker character. Is this a bad idea? Does wood sell better in the higher tiers of the game?

    Is Yellow Minstrel viable for tough solo content?

    I'm used to playing red for solo and blue for heals, but now I'd like to buy another trait spec from the store to use a yellow trait line option, alongside other two. However I wonder If it's worth it. I now that when there's a healer already, then yellow buffs are useful, but is yellow line also viable in mid-game solo content. Does it help me survive soloing group instances better than red and blue?

    Need help again with Mac install

    Hello,

    I had finished installing the game from the client up to the point where the "bars" go away after reaching 100%. The error I have run into is that the launcher is stuck on "installing Microsoft visual c++ 2010 redistributable package (x64). This is all being done on a 2009 MacBook Pro running El Capitan osX. Thank you!

    Can‘t download the Game.

    Hey Lads. I tried to download the Game today on the official LOTRO Site but it is not working. The Download is not starting after clicking the ,, Download ,, Button. Having this Issue since 2 Days now.

    Any advice?
