    Moria Quests

    Hello,

    I recently arrived in Moria for the first time and thought I would have all the quests, having bought the quest pack when it was discounted. However, upon entering I found that I have to 'unlock' most of the quest I come across. Do I need to buy the expansion pack too in order to access the quests?

    Places in the game that unexpectedly brought a smile to your face (spoilers)

    Just going through Enedwaith and got to the Gloomglens. Pleasantly surprised with how un gloomy they are. And obviously found some certain hobbits, that put a massive smile on my face!

    Racials, Classes, Traits, Deeds and Legendaries synergy question

    This is probably a recurring question this sub receives plenty of times, so I'll try to be as specific as possible.

    I played way back on release back when this was called Shadow of Angmar, I had a hobbit burglar who barely finished Book 1 due to how hard the Barrows were back then, generally requiring an 8 person fellowship.

    Now during a film marathon with my friends I've got the itch to play again however, I am a changed gamer since then. The most important thing being synergy between race and class when I play these games.

    So, between equipment, racial traits and deeds, legendary items.

    What is the most cohesive race and class combinations for the original 4 races?

    Initially, I thought;

    • Minstrel Dwarf - Axe Shield, Light Armour
    • Hunter Elf - Bow 1HS, Medium
    • Guardian Hobbit - 1HC Heavy Shield, Heavy Armour
    • Champion Man - 2Hs, Heavy Armour

    However, wiki searching shows me there are no legendary items for Minstrels that are Axes.

    There's also something that's been really bugging me that the Champion's Ability Horn of Gondor doesn't restrict the class to Men.

    Then lastly there's the problem with particular classes being the most restrictive than the rest; Burglar, Captain and Loremaster being obvious.

    I know this sounds like a lot of faff but it's definitely something that I'd like to know before I jump back in because I suffer from a major case of Alt-itis
