Posted: 14 Jun 2020 09:24 PM PDT Are there any fun details from the books that you have found in the game? Stuff like the 3 trolls in the trollshaws or Tom Bombadils house. I love finding little details from the book and exploring them in game. [link] [comments]
What does /played actual show? Posted: 14 Jun 2020 10:51 PM PDT I checked it and it says I played my character for 2 months and 3 weeks. That's over 1300 hours. Problem is, I really don't think I did. I rarely play this game, I didn't have any quest packs or expansions and only reached level 24. I don't think I could spend this much time dicking around in Bree-land and Lone-lands. I mean, I have several maxed out characters in World of Warcraft and Guild Wars 2, I've played those games for years, and my playtimes are about 700-800 hours for each. I definitely did not play 1300 hours on a level 24 character. So my question is, does /played actually show your total playtime on the character? Or is it something different? [link] [comments]
New player - Sorry if this has been asked before, but regarding the coupon code... Posted: 14 Jun 2020 04:46 PM PDT I already know that to obtain the quest packs I need to ender the code in the ingame shop. But what about obtaining the expansions for 99 points? I'm trying to just outright buy all the quests, zones and expansions and never have to spend money again. [link] [comments]

Returning Lazy Players Question regarding level skips? Posted: 14 Jun 2020 09:58 PM PDT Hey Guys, Myself and my three friends want to get back into this game after maybe a 6-7 year hiatus? All of our characters are locked away in some old version of the game and we can't play them or transfer them to another server. We were thinking of making brand new characters but would rather we could just skip to some level. We were not VIP players and didn't own any of the expansions.
Thanks!! [link] [comments]
Running Lotro on low spec machine machine Posted: 15 Jun 2020 01:38 AM PDT I was looking at running a 2nd account on a low spec machine. Mostly it will be made from odds and sods that I have (mouse, keyboard hdd etc...) but I do need to get a cheap motherboard and CPU. So I was wondering, would Lotro be playable on the spec below? CPU -AMD Ryzen 5 3400G Motherboard g ASRock 320M HDV Memory -16gb ddr4 The resolution would be at 1920 X 1080. To be clear it would be using the integrated graphics on the CPU as I don't have funds for a GPU. Your thoughts would be much appreciated. [link] [comments]
Question about Black Book ending Posted: 14 Jun 2020 08:47 PM PDT So I just finished the Black Book and really enjoyed how it wrapped up, but I still have a lingering question. Why did Voin give Earnur/Mordirith a broken key? [link] [comments]
Posted: 14 Jun 2020 08:11 PM PDT My main is level 84 and I have noticed that the auction house is bare for light armor, jewelry, and LI's around my level. I just transferred to Landroval a few weeks ago, so I am trying to separate whether the bare AH is due to the server or my level range. When I was on Brandywine, I found plenty of items on the AH up until I was about level 65 or so. Also, the items I would post would usually sell. Any thoughts? Is it level or server or both? Posted: 14 Jun 2020 05:29 AM PDT Hey, I just came back to the game like a lot of people, am playing a captain and got to level 20. I found that I can barter armaments from my trainer and get an archer with a different appearance before I actually unlock the skill. Has this always been the case? Also is the lotro wiki out of date for captain class items? Just a bit confused about the different class times, I seem to remember you could plant a flag in the ground for a stationary aoe buff at one point too, is that still the case? Thanks in advance! Posted: 14 Jun 2020 06:28 AM PDT Hi everyone! I've just finished the Fangorn quest chain and I'm not sure where I should go next... I want to play through the entire riders of Rohan quest pack, ideally in order. Thanks! [link] [comments]

Cheapest way to get riding skills without VIP? Posted: 14 Jun 2020 04:05 AM PDT Other than spending 95 points on each is there any other cheap option for getting the riding skill on all present and future characters? This is assuming that a single month's VIP isn't an option to unlock the riding skill individually (at level 20) due to my characters likely being created over a period of time. Sadly there used to be the Samwise Ganges pack but that seems to be no longer available, and the 3K points store one seems too expensive. Thanks! EDIT:Am in UK so may restrict online purchase (for physical or even virtual delivery) options. [link] [comments]
Posted: 14 Jun 2020 10:27 AM PDT Hello folks, I came back after 2 years of absence and trying to get back to the game. Before I quit, I maxed a High Elf Warden in Mordor. But now I read some internet about warden does not have his old glory... So is this true, what's the major changes? I read some champion that they got buffed and now they are useful in raids and whatnot. And also Captains are very wanted for groups/raids as always. So I'm quite torn between Warden, Champion and Captain. I like a class that is capable on his own, and useful in raids/groups in many ways, I like a versatile class. I know the basics of the game and levelled a lot of classes to a certain level, but I don't know what's going on up-to-date. I would like to hear your experiences about those three classes. For example, Captain is really a trouble when solo levelling/questing? Like do you notice a big difference when you compare it to a champ or warden? Or is it slightly slow? Or what people talk about warden is an exaggeration, and they are still good? I remember champion lacked survivability, for they have little bubbles shields or morale restore, is it still like this, or they are so fast that they don't even need? And I also read many things about race/class combo, many people are going to remake their High Elf Captains to Man. What's the most efficient class/race combo amongst these 3? Thank you! Posted: 14 Jun 2020 04:52 AM PDT Hi all I'm looking for info on the best server to play on from Australia population-wise. I'd be playing mostly at night, after 7-8pm AEST/9-10am UTC. I did search and the most recent posts indicated Arkenstone or possibly Brandywine and I was wondering if this was still accurate. Thanks Edit - I did start a character on Arkenstone shortly after posting this. I'm still doing the initial quest but will check the population tomorrow. I also noted my ping was about 265ms so might check and see if any of the other suggested worlds have better ping too. [link] [comments]
Posted: 14 Jun 2020 03:48 AM PDT I stopped playing around the time they were releasing Gondor packs but not the major expansion so about 6 years ago (I did play Legacy Servers for about 4 months when they first came out). Level 100 captain, I logged in and I feel like I've missed so much. How long would it take to get to level cap so I can start playing some group content? My other major concern in crafting, I was doing weapon smith all those years ago, is it still viable? I was thinking of dropping for farming/cooking as it would be easier to level. It would not be a huge lose as my Weapon and Prospect is only Supreme tier. Any other suggestions/tips would be appreciated. [link] [comments] |
