LI - I have no idea what I’m doing Posted: 02 May 2020 08:12 PM PDT So I got a level 100 2nd Age Beorning club at level 100, imbued it, and didn't really do anything with it. I've been over leveled like since Gondor so I never had much trouble winning fights. Now my Beorning is 121. It's taking longer to kill mobs and I realized the dps is terrible. Like 800 something. What do I do? Do I pay to upgrade the DPS? Use motes to get a new weapon? Just use crafted stuff? I don't care about having the best gear, I just want to kill stuff faster. Halp! Doing the Epic Quests as a Duo Posted: 02 May 2020 09:26 PM PDT After 10 years since I first made my Guardian I finally made it to Moria, and have recently beat it with a friend, we've noticed since the Last book or so of Moria that many/most of the Epic Quests have turned to Solo Quests/Instances, the Interlude Between Moria and Lothlorien felt like it was solely solo quests, and Mirkwood we are at 1/3 quests being done together. Will things get back to 'normal' once we finish with this Mazog storyline with only the more cinematic portions being solo, or should we expect this to be the new norm and not be able to do the Epic with each other anymore? It just puts a damper whenever we see that red text. [link] [comments]
Posted: 02 May 2020 09:27 AM PDT I'm completely new to the game. I have a Hobbit minstrel and am in the Shire atm. I have finished the prologue type missions with Strider and the Blackwolds. I don't have any expansions yet but if I stick with the game I'll probably get some. [link] [comments]

Every once in a blue moon I try to play LOTRO. I really love the oldschool MMORPG aspect. Posted: 02 May 2020 12:52 PM PDT ...and everytime I have to update for an hour straight before I can play, lose interest, leave the PC, come back another few months later, want to finish the update, and got yet ANOTHER update that takes ANOTHER five hours to complete. Rinse and repeat for six months straight now. Fascinating. I really did not expect that kind of vicious cycle. [link] [comments]
Why the hell it takes such ages to install and update it? Posted: 02 May 2020 11:00 AM PDT I'd understand if it was every file separately downloaded through a separate connection and then stored on the disk. But that wouldn't take such long. Also, what are all those iterations? I'd understand if it was deleting or preparing some stuff on the disk for the update, or applying preloaded patches. But after just installing the launcher, I already have 2 hours of iterations awaiting for me? What is it doing? [link] [comments] |
