Posted: 26 Oct 2019 08:32 PM PDT Unlike all of the other classes in the game Rune-Keepers are deeply restricted on what cosmetic options they have for their weapons. All the other classes are able to substitute other weapons of a similar type and also have a wide variety of different appearances for each type. Runestones however tend to all look very similar when wielded and compounding this no option is given to use a different option in its place. Even the collections like Thrang's weapons and the store collection don't offer us any new options despite all other classes receiving multiple cosmetics. Even when it comes to the more light-hearted implements Rune-Keepers are far more limited, with access only to the potato. With the Rune-Keeper update now would be a really wonderful time to balance things out and grant a few more options for outfits. One option would be just to allow us to keep our stones hidden in combat, the animations for our attacks would still look nice and make sense without them. This could also represent things such as lesser rings or other jewels inscribed with runes which arguably has more of a precedent in lore than the stones, especially for elven Rune-Keepers. The Rune-Keeper is a fascinating class linked with the linguistics of the setting but in a game with so much love for outfits and role-playing its sad that they are so much more restricted than everyone else. And merely allowing them to be hidden or offering a cosmetic runestone that simply doesn't display on the character model could be an easy and effective way of redressing this. Even to the extent of doubling our options in a way, given how similar the stones tend to appear when held. [link] [comments]
Delving scroll before or after imbuement? Posted: 26 Oct 2019 10:07 PM PDT I've combed through all I can on the googles about this, Dadi's guide, etc. and have read conflicting reports about applying the Anfalas scroll of Delving before vs. after imbuement. The last thread I see here on /r/lotro says to do it before, but there's this source that says:
Is that source correct, and it doesn't matter when to apply the delving scroll? [link] [comments]

Minas Morgul Crafting question. Posted: 26 Oct 2019 07:21 AM PDT Can't seem to find this info anywhere: will there be new shards? AFAIK the crafting level won't go up so I'm just pondering if I should sell mine now or keep them. [link] [comments] |
