Australian looking for active mature kin on any server Posted: Morning guys. I've decided to return to LoTRO after a LONG absence. I started in beta, and lasted until Mirkwood, but kind of lost interest when my Kin got inactive and the free to play elements crept in. I have extremely find memories of the game, mainly because if the cool people I got to play with across the world. Does anyone have a well established, mature player base (I'm 42) with people from different time zones? I'm not particularly fussed about RP, but I've done it in the past if that's my only option (as long as there is a healthy OOC kin channel). A bit about me, to make sure you are comfortable with a potential invite - please, for the love of all that is holy, I don't want to talk about politics. I don't know much about sport except Cricket, and I work in the financial industry. I still look at Rune Keepers as interlopers and not lore friendly, and haven't yet gotten beyond Rohan or Mirkwood. Expansion and quest pack question Posted: Hello, I have yet to start buying expansions or quest packs. Some questions if you would help me. Do I need to buy expansions to unlock a higher max level for my characters? Or does the release of a new expansion apply that to all accounts, regardless if they bought the expansion? I looked up some expansions and they mention new areas that are unlocked. Example with Mines of Moria 3 new regions: Eregion, Moria, Lothlórien Do I need to buy an expansions FIRST before I can buy quest packs associated with the expansion? Such as the Moria Quest pack.
