    My girlfriend and I just started playing this for the first time due to quarantine. She is a hunter but I am struggling to pick a class that will be good and fun to play. What would y'all recommend?

    I'm currently trying an elf lore-master but am unsure of how I feel about it. I usually like doing damage but I understand the need for a support later on, especially to help my girlfriend. Any tips or builds or just better characters to play? I dont need the best, mainly looking for the most fun I can have. Even if it's not entirely noob friendly I'm sure i can figure it out.

    How long will it take to get to 130 starting fresh?

    Just curious, will probably buy VIP and the expansions as I level up to them. Maybe I'll buy xp boosters but I plan on doing all of the epic quest content, and then whatever else is needed to level. I'd say I'd plan on playing at least 2-3 hours a day, sometimes more, probably far less once quarantine ends. Would that take like a couple months or actually a year? Not trying to rush through to end game, but I've already experienced everything up to Rohan way back in 2013. The main thing I'm craving from this game is the group and raid play, and to see where the story has gone over the years, so I'd be ecstatic if it's possible to make it to 130 this summer without the game entirely consuming my life.

    Is the screen stuttering/engine issue on all servers?

    I stopped playing lotro because every 10 seconds my screen would skip. also every attack took a second to use. instanced lagged all the time. does this happen on all the servers or just the populated ones? its annoying.

    New to MMOs

    Title says it all. I'm just curious how long it will take me to actually get use to the mechanics. I'm a huge LOTR fan and I have a lot more free time now bc it covid. Any tips would be appreciated as well!!

    Lifetime launch subscriber but only have 11 year gifts?

    Title mostly says it all. I bought a lifetime subscription at launch. When I logged in I noticed I only had up to year 11 anniversary gifts. Is this something I should open a ticket over?

    Boosted loot around Bree-Land?

    Hey guys,

    Has the loot that drops from mobs been boosted around breeland? Played for about an hour on my now lvl 17 Guardian and I got so much more gear loot than I'm used to, plus it was much better than the stuff I get from quests. Biggest difference was that from the loot from mobs, there could be an increase to two or even more stats, and those early level pieces of gear usually just got one stat and maybe two.

    Anyone knows if there has been a change, or hat I'm just very lucky with the rng today?

    New player, need a little guidance

    I started playing a week ago. I created a Dwarf Champion. (I'm on Crickhollow, by the way) I got through the tutorial and all of the prologue quests and got to Gondamon, then the Anniversary Event started. I swift traveled to Bree and have been doing the fireworks and lost letters quests. I have earned enough Anniversary Tokens to buy one of the mounts, but I can't actually buy it because I don't have the Riding skill. I haven't done much with that char in the past few days except for a couple of anniversary quests every day. He's level 11 now.

    I started a second character a few days ago, a Hobbit Hunter. I really wanted to have the Hobbit experience, since it is Lord of the Rings, after all. Also, just starting a second character helped me understand the game a little better, I was a little confused about the maps and finding quest markers with my dwarf. She hasn't made it out of the Shire yet and has just been running Shire quests (Can I say, holy cow, there are a ton of quests in The Shire!). I think she hit level 10 last night. I really like the environment of the Shire more than the Thorin's Gate area.

    I'm still a little confused about fast travel and some of the items relating to it. In the Gift for a Starting Adventurer, there was a Writ of Special Passage: 1 Hour. It looks like you can use it to travel anywhere, but only for 1 hour after you activate it. Do I care about it? Is it more for seasoned players who want to start somewhere other than their default starting area? Also, I have a Tarnished Whistle which looks like it can summon a horse, but only for 24 hours. Can I even use it without riding? And even so, how much do I care, since it's only temporary?

    When my Hobbit got her first Milestone skill, it was already set to Gondamon (where I had set my Dwarf). Is the Milestone the same for all characters, or can I change it for the Hobbit and it will still be Gondamon for the Dwarf?

    I only have the opportunity to play for a couple of hours at night, so it's going to be very slow going. I've read up on all of the differences between VIP, Premium and Free. I'd like to get a mount for both of my characters. I'm considering getting VIP for a month before the Anniversary Event ends so I can get one of the anniversary mounts. If I do that, should I try to get them to level 20 to do the quest, or should I just buy the skill? Am I overthinking it? So far the only VIP/Premium thing I feel like I need/want right now is Riding. The extra character slots would be nice. I don't care yet about anything else, although my Dwarf already hit the gold cap. Obviously the level cap and extra quests aren't necessary right now.

    Bob and Weave drastically decreased

    I recently logged into my burglar I hadn't played in a while and noticed my bob and weave was giving me a total of 48 morale when I have 2,376 and am sure it used to give more. I don't see anything in the patch notes about it, did it get nerfed or is mine bugged?

    Level 130 essences

    The wiki isn't straightforward about tier 12 essences there there are 4 variants, so I'm looking for some help. Is there a non-instance avenue to obtain t12 essences? The new area gear has a lot of essence slots, whereas my basic Morgul gear didn't. Thank you.

    Sending gold from alts to main toon

    Hi guys just a quick question. I'm grinding out lotro points on an alt for the first time (same server as main). Just wondering if I'm allowed to send any gold I've earned from my alt to my main, or is it not allowed via gameplay?

    Only been playing for a week and a half after dropping the game for six years. Thanks in advance for your help!

    PvMP Advice needed

    A fews weeks ago I made an account on Arken specifically for creepside play and I'm having a really good time. I rolled a warg and I'm up to r5 but I still get absolutely ass blasted by any kind of freep, grouped or not. I have no idea what the current meta is supposed to look like, what should my corruption traits be? Right now I'm traited 6 mastery and 6 crit rating, my dps is okay but i have the durability of a wet kleenex.
