    Howdy Folks! I am a returning player, and I have not played since the Moria expansion. I understand the differences between the server types, and I am wondering if the Legendary servers are popular, and if I should go that route?

    I am looking to take my time and enjoy the game, and would like to maximize my chances of running into folks to do stuff with. I do not really have time for multiple characters hence the decision.

    I appreciate any advice anyone can give. Thank you for your time!

    When are the servers open?

    Hello everyone šŸ‘‹ I was just about to open LOTRO for the first time ever, only to learn that all the servers were closed. Can anyone enlighten me on when which servers are open? Thank you very much in advance, can't wait to play with you all :)

    SSG should merge server tech

    So there's 12 servers - 2 legendary - and maybe 300 players on each server (on average) at any given time.

    let's say there's 3600 players online at any given time. That means that at any given level there could be 32 players online across all servers.

    Now imagine that you could get a full group at any instance or skirmish at any level within minutes.

    What would they need to do tech-wise? create a giant chat server for all worlds and have transition servers to read/store data for players interacting between servers.

    Warden or Beorning Solo?

    I have both these classes at close levels and want to hop back on one, and I'm looking for the best solo experience. Obviously, they are quite different classes, but is there a definitive better one right now or are they close?

    New Champion blue line buff.

    Champions now get 1 Block per Vitality.

    Blue Line Champions now receive a bonus to their base Block score when they specialize.

    Just used a Valar on mine, and was going to do AOE, but it looks like the tanking was buffed. Were they OK before, or no? I know Guardian will probably be the preferred tank always, but it looks like this might have made them better?

    First Age LIs

    Recently came back to the game and got my warden from 90-94 last night, I'm wondering if it's worth grinding a first age LI at 100 or just continuing using second/third ages until 120 or so? I do not own Mordor or the new expansion as of yet.

    Questions in regards to the middle earth essentials pack

    1. Is it a limited time offer in the LOTRO store?
    2. Can I use the premium housing writs from the pack to purchase the stately house in Gondor if I am on a Legendary server? (We're only at Isengard)
    3. Is the housing shared across all characters, even on different servers?
    4. Should I wait to see if Rohan will offer premium housing? (I'm a big fan of the Rohirrim)
