Are weapon damage types even relevant at this point?

    Posted: 07 Dec 2019 01:18 AM PST

I do remember that one boss in a Moria dungeon/raid who was immune to common damage, but other than that: is there even a point in opting for a legendary title for my weapon, and if so, which one?

    Lifetime Founder with a question

    Posted: 06 Dec 2019 06:46 PM PST

So, from what I understand, Lifetime Founders do not have access to any additional expansions beyond the base game, and just life everyone else, we must purchase the expansion packs and quests. Is this accurate?

Additionally, is it necessary to buy quests in addition to expansion packs, or do the expansions contain all of the quests that can be purchased?

Is it allowed to have more than 1 account on the same world?

    Posted: 06 Dec 2019 06:01 PM PST

I saw a guy who was playing on his 6 accounts at the same time šŸ˜³. Is it fine to create such one man armies? Was trying to figure it out, but couldn't find anything about this in the game rules.

Returning after a long time - and maybe starting afresh

    Posted: 06 Dec 2019 08:35 PM PST

I don't really have a question, more of a confession.

I logged in for the first time in ages the other day, and discovered my main, a Human Warden, who I'd finished the Rohan content on, but not started Helm's Deep (which I picked up when it came out but never got around to playing). Every single one of his bag slots was full, and it was all a bit overwhelming. I am a terrible hoarder.

It was still the Black Friday sale, and I had some LotRO points sitting around, so I nabbed High Elf, and my laziness is such that I am strongly considering making a new High Elf Warden and going from there! (Plus High Elf looks cool.)

    QUESTION

    Posted: 06 Dec 2019 03:01 PM PST

Should I buy Mines of Moria with LOTRO points or should I keep them for something else in the store and buy the expansion with real money?

    Why not chat ban?

    Posted: 06 Dec 2019 05:28 AM PST

Hey i'm just wondering why they don't enforce chat bans over account bans. Obviously after multiple offensives you should get an account ban, But I think its a little stupid that you can get a week+ ban for simply calling someone a moron, or disagreeing with something. I wonder why this community is so small, the game is great, looking amazing, cool classes, etc etc, gameplay is solid. It's probably because so many people quit cause they feel like they can't even talk without the fear of getting a ban hammer.

A part that makes an MMO great is the ability to communicate and talk with other players. The whole entire aspect of say something wrong and face a week ban is a little intense in my eyes. Banning customers so easily could easily drive them away from your product. So my suggestion is simple, Maybe Do a chat ban or two, before account suspensions when it comes to chat? Of course unless its something EXTREME. But I've seen week bans over someone calling someone stupid. If someone is upset about something then just ignore that person, if not do the chat ban process.

This is just my opinion, I'm sure ill get 50 replies saying I'm wrong because people get enjoyment from banning other people from a game for a week over something so tiny. You can get chat banned for a day for spamming in fellowship, so its possible to do. Just some suggestions, I really think you could save some customers from leaving the game if you handled this a bit differently.
